About Courtney
I am a professional musician, audio engineer, and producer with over a decade of industry experience. I hold a BMus (Hons) in Performance from the Royal Academy of Music, alongside Level 3 Personal Training credentials and over four years of educational mentoring experience.
Throughout my career, I have performed and recorded alongside world class artists across a range of genres including Gregory Porter, Jools Holland, Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson, Burna Boy, and Stormzy.
This real world industry background spans live audio engineering, studio recording, and multi-DAW production across Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and Ableton Live.
Alongside my creative work, I have spent years mentoring primary, secondary, and SEN (Special Educational Needs) students. My goal as an educator is to combine high level industry expertise with an empathetic, patient approach.
I focus on removing technical frustration, managing performance anxiety, and helping each student develop the confidence and skills needed to achieve their personal music goals.

Learning music production, Ableton, or DJing should be creative and hands-on, not overwhelming. I focus on practical application—working directly inside real project files from day one rather than wading through dry theory. I combine technical engineering skills with creative mentorship to help you finish tracks, build confidence, and overcome artistic blocks in a calm, supportive environment.
I work with beginners starting from scratch, intermediate producers finishing tracks, and advanced creators refining mixes.
I am happy to work from children all the way to adults. I can be fully tailored for SEN learners and diverse learning styles.
The duration of lessons are usually 60 minutes. I can also provide 30-min focus or 90-min deep-dives if needed.
Format of lessons:
Goal Check: Review your project or track ideas.
Practical Session: Hands on work on a specific skill (for example sound design, mixing, beatmatching).
Action Plan: Clear steps to work on before the next session.
