About Lauren
I am a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland BA acting course and a BAFTA Scholar Recipient. I have been working professionally in film and theatre over the past 3 and a half years including works with BBC and working in London theatres.
I have taught film the past two summers at Edinburgh Film Academy and also lead audition days and open days at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

I base my classes on script work: analysing texts, breaking down scripts, embodiment of voice and working on character building. I use methods such as actioning to improve physicality with texts and use techniques taught to me by my lecturers at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to help with understanding texts, to improve confidence and give my students the skills to then use in their own way which they find beneficial. Most of my teaching methods are based on the works of practitioners Stanislavsky and Nadine George.
