About Amman
I am a UC San Diego graduate with a General Biology degree and a Chemistry minor degree. I furthered my education to retrieve a Master's in Biology at UC San Diego. I have worked in the Dickinson Laboratory at UC San Diego focusing on small molecules role in root development.
I have experience teaching Metabolic Biochemistry and have a variety of knowledge in the biology field. This includes mentorship in the Dickinson laboratory and teaching assistant for metabolic biochemistry.
I have had a passion for biology since my first cell biology course in high school. I am excited to spread this passion to other students in a fun and interactive way.

I aim to simplify material involving biological processes into an easily digestible and understandable way.
I will assist students through questions and help them develop critical thinking skills to succeed in courses. I will retrieve student's notes and simplify them to the best of my ability.
My course will focus on undergraduate students enrolled in biology courses and high school students enrolled in AP biology
My main goal is for you to succeed as a student in the biology courses you are enrolled in through my fun and easily understandable teaching plan!
