I was very impressed by the quality of Sarah's lessons. She is very intelligent, flexible & involved, always looking for ways to adapt to your specific learning needs, well prepared and provides a wealth of feedback & information. I learned a hundred times more during 7 hours with Sarah than from 40 hours of self-study. I appreciated the fact that Sarah was genuinely keen to help and really seemed to enjoy it. I met Sarah in June 2013 when I was preparing to apply for an NHS job as a junior doctor. We have worked together at various times since, when I've needed extra language support. She is brilliant, very flexible, patient, innovative and always makes a huge effort to help. She can respond and adapt to individualised needs and from one class to the next. She will impress you with different things to learn. I would definitely recommend her, it is really worth it!

I have been taking lessons with Sarah for 9 months. I have been taking Sarah's General English lessons for the past three months. As a teacher she has the ability to locate my language weaknesses and adjust every lesson to them. I am impressed by both her professionalism and her way to make me feel conformable during our sessions.

I had trouble writing my personal statement for UCAS to apply for nursing training; I knew what I wanted to say but I didn't know how to write it. I looked for a tutor online and my gut feeling chose Sarah. I don't regret it, she did a great job. I emailed her my personal statement (what I managed to write) and in 24 hours she turned it into a masterpiece. I managed to secure 4/5 interviews and still today I enjoy just reading my PS (it is that good). Call her, I promise you won't regret it.

I found Sarah very welcoming but professional at the same time. Being a native speaker I was nervous at asking for help, however, Sarah made me feel very relaxed and listened to my needs. The homework I was given helped me focus on the areas I found challenging. I was given useful links to websites and great tips on how to tackle the exam with regards to time management and what the examiners would be looking out for. Sarah was very helpful and I achieved the result I wanted.

Sarah is a kind, patient and really sweet teacher, she regards student as her friend. I asked her to proofread my dissertation. She did not only correct sentences but also taught various examples and how meaning can change just by a different choice of word. She tried to understand what I wanted to write and then suggest better expressions to make it a lot clearer. With her help, I finished my first long piece of writing in English without too much stress.
