About Angelica
Since graduating from Boston University in 2018, I have been teaching test prep classes at multiple tutoring companies either in person or online. Usually working either 1-on-1 or in small groups, I have experience working with students with various academic goals. I've helped many students cross the 1500-point threshold on the SAT and gain admission to elite schools such as Cornell, Columbia, Notre Dame, NYU, and Johns Hopkins. I am also an expert Common Application and supplementary essay coach, offering help with everything from brainstorming the perfect essay topic to editing and proofreading a completed draft.

My approach as a teacher is to evaluate each student's college admissions goals as an achievement that can be attained using a personalized, holistic approach. If colleges are going to evaluate you on a holistic basis, I should take the same approach as a teacher. Simply having a high SAT/ACT score isn't enough in some cases, and in others, a student may be expending too much or too little effort on one aspect of their application. I can help you evaluate ALL aspects of your application to be sure that you are presenting yourself in the best light possible.
