About Jack
I am an experienced SAT tutor and a recent 1530 scorer who understands both the content of the exam and the pressure students feel while preparing for it. Having taken the SAT recently, I bring current knowledge of the test’s format, question types, pacing challenges, and effective strategies.
Over the past several years, I have worked with students at different starting levels and founded my own tutoring company, where I oversee student support and tutor coordination. I take tutoring seriously: each session is organized around a student’s goals, areas for improvement, and learning style.
My approach combines high expectations with an encouraging, relatable dynamic. As a student myself, I can connect with students as a near-peer mentor while maintaining professionalism, accountability, and a clear focus on measurable progress. My goal is not only to raise scores, but also to help students feel capable and confident on test day!

Hi! I’m a student tutor who earned a 1530 on the SAT and understands the test from recent, firsthand experience. I’ve spent the past few years tutoring students and have started my own tutoring company, where I manage both students and tutors.
Because I’m close in age to many of my students, I offer a relatable, peer-to-peer approach while still keeping sessions structured, productive, fun, and goal-oriented. I know the pressure that comes with SAT prep, the common mistakes students make, the time pressure students feel, and the strategies that can turn difficult questions into manageable ones!
I help students with:
SAT Math, Reading, and Writing strategies
Personalized study plans and realistic score goals
Practice-test review and identifying weak areas
Time management, confidence, and test-day preparation
Clear explanations that make challenging material feel less intimidating
A younger tutor can be an advantage: sessions feel approachable and conversational, but the work still gets done. My goal is to help students build both stronger skills and confidence in their ability to succeed.
