About Lorna
I come from a musical family and studied classical piano and flute as a child. I took up Saxophone in 2008 and went to jazz class at adult education for several years. I went on to take Trinity Jazz Saxophone Grades 6 and 8 and got distinction in both. I then took and passed my City and Guilds PTLLS - Teaching in Adult Education. I spent several years gigging on Saxophone in bands, then through sheer demand I went onto Bass Guitar. I was house bassist for many jam nights and gigged in several different bands over the years. I still play bass but only for fun these days as the late nights lugging heavy bass speakers were getting the better of me!

I offer saxophone lessons for adults - online and in my home studio. I have 15 years teaching experience. Grade 8 Trinity Jazz Saxophone Distinction Grade 6 Trinity Jazz Saxophone Distinction City and Guilds PTLLS Teaching All levels - improvers, classical players wishing to learn jazz, beginners welcome. Specialising in jazz, and most other genres - rock, pop, soul, funk, blues and general. I can help you with ear training, jazz improvisation, or just for fun.
