About Emilio
I studied double bass and electric bass at the professional conservatory of Tenerife. I received a scholarship to study at the conservatorio del liceu contrabass jazz and I finished with an extraordinary prize. The following year he completed the master of interpretation and composition of the esmuc.
I have recorded two albums as a leader that can be heard on any digital platform and more than twenty as a sideman.
Currently I teach in Barcelona both in music school and individuals with a decade of experience as a teacher and fifteen years of professional experience.

It is much easier for both of you if there are clear objectives. Each student is different and I try to make each class personalized, since each person learns in a different way and in a different period of time.
I help the student to develop his ear and master his instrument with a wide variety of exercises or games, always starting from the musical style that most attracts his attention.
Also to control several musical genres in order to face a professional future and develop their musical qualities to feel comfortable within any genre.
I like to work from the students' proposals (where they want to go with these classes), added to my proposals, and that these serve as a guide whether they have a clear objective or if they just want to have fun with music.
