About Alex
Hello! My name is Alex and I have been teaching labs for 3.5 years at York University. I am currently a teaching assistant, marker and lab instructor at the Schulich School of Business for accounting and economics. Teaching has always been a great passion of mine because I enjoy helping people realize that they are capable of mastering complex subjects with the right discipline and guidance.

I begin by understanding students' level of understanding and difficulties with accounting/economics subjects to set a baseline for what students' expectations, strengths and weaknesses are. Together, we then create a lesson plan that is uniquely tied to your needs as a student (focusing most on the foundational topics required to break down complex subjects so that they are easier to tackle).
Historically, I have only taught undergraduate and masters students but am also able to teach high-school level accounting and economics.
