About Anthony

I am a Physics undergraduate at the University of Bristol and I am looking to tutor in areas that I have a particular passion for, Maths and Physics, but can offer Chemistry, Biology and 11+ or 13+ tuition for all students in years 7 to year 13. I attained 4 As in my A levels (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths) and also had to pass a very difficult entrance exam for my school and so have experience with the 11+ format. I mentored at my school for two years and in that time helped a number of students with their work from year 7 right up to A level. I am very enthusiastic about what I do because they involve the subjects that I love. Specifically for maths, as it is a modular system, I can teach the following modules: C1, C2, C3, C4, M1, M2. With Physics, Chemistry and Biology I can teach up to A level and have many resources that are useful for your studies. Alongside this, I am able to help with entrance exam preparation. My score when I applied was 96% and I feel more than capable to teach the tricks required to pass an entrance exam. I have had a year's worth of tutoring experience with a variety of students with different abilities and backgrounds and all have gone on to achieve what they wanted, whether that be passing their SATs, applying to a school or GCSE and A level help. University : - University of Bristol - Physics School : The Latymer School A Levels - Biology [A] - Chemistry [A] - Physics [A] - Maths [A*] St Ignatius College GCSEs - Biology [A] - Chemistry [A*] - Physics [A*] - Maths [A*] - Further Maths [A] - English Literature [A] - English Language [A] - Geography [A] - Music [A] - Religious Studies [A] - French [A]

Over the past 2 years, Anthony has helped me not only firm my understanding of maths and the sciences, but also helped me to grasp challenging ideas and concepts. He is attentive and caring towards your requirements and his endless efforts in lesson preparation ensure even the nuances of the subject are understood clearly. He is patient during his explanations and receptive to questions, as well as discussions of ideas. His previous tutoring experience, alongside mentoring students in lower years, stands him in good stead to tutor in maths and science and I would highly recommend him as he is able to stretch students to achieve their best.
