About Portia
I am a recent graduate, who has recently moved back to the area from near London (where I did work placements). I have studied a wide variety of As levels (7 in total) from Geography right through to Economics.
At degree level, my course allowed me to also study in other subject schools. Therefore; I have degree level experience in finance, economics, psychology/cognition, marketing, business management (and these are a few of several subjects I have studied).
In between, my time at university, I also had work placements in London in industries such as; public transport, a 500 legal firm, and a data broking firm. All of which has allowed me to develop my skill set/knowledge further.
I aim to offer CV advice, exam help GCSE, and A-Level subject tutoring in:
- Finance, geography, psychology, fine art, marketing, business studies (all areas), and mathematics.

I prefer to offer one to one training as I feel it gives students the best possible chance to learn/understand, although I am willing to provide at request a group session.
I first start by understanding the strengths/weaknesses of students to identify which learning method would be most suitable to them. I also ask for what they are struggling on and need to learn - from this I work with the student to develop the best sudy lesson plan to benefit them the most.
