About Ugne
I graduated with a First Class Hons BSc Chemistry degree from a Russel Group university. Currently I am a postgraduate student in a Scientific and Data Intensive Computing Programme at UCL.
I first started to gain teaching experience by tutoring friends, friends-of-friends and their siblings whilst I was still studying my A-levels. Since then, I have taught students from Year 1 to A level Science, Math and Chemistry. My students have obtained their desired grades and gained confidence, whilst I learnt what kind of support is necessary for them to achieve their learning goals!

My interest in Chemistry was sparked with problem solving, and I believe that is the best way to learn, which is why I am equipped with many exercises (especially Chemistry A-level) to walk through with my tutees until they can themselves explain the concepts to anyone!
Problem solving is crucial not only for understanding the subject matter at hand, but also to be there to guide you when a new topic comes along. Once you learn HOW to approach difficult subjects, you become much better at independent work, or (just as important) comprehending WHAT it is you are struggling with. But even before all that, I will be there to guide you through everything with plenty support.
Needless to say, we will prepare for and solve whatever is necessary.
