About Gilda
Hi I am Gilda, originally from Mexico but completed my education in NZ. I went to Kerikeri High School where I got my NCEA Levels 1 to 3 and UE. I did my tertiary education at South Seas Television and Film School where I got my Level 6 On-Screen Acting Diploma.
I love being a Spanish speaker and sharing my knowledge with people, I have a lot of interests like arts, music, food, fashion, etc.
So I am sure we will find topics we find interesting to talk about during the exercises.

The best way to become fluent in a language is by practicing with a native speaker.
I will adjust to each student to help them reach their goals and interests, whether they want to improve their casual Spanish for a trip or formal Spanish for school and business.
We can arrange the length and frequency of the lessons to best suit your needs.
Mexican Spanish is my first Language, so in terms of qualifications I only took NCEA Level 3 Spanish when I was in High School and won the speech competitions back then, but I have a Level 6 Screen Acting Diploma and did other subjects in NCEA so I can teach you vocabulary for most subjects.
I sometimes do translations too and socialize with a lot of Argentinian, Chilean and Colombian people in case you have any slang questions.
I am happy to teach any age, however to be able to hold a conversation properly you might need to already be an intermediate.
