About Tessa
It is my goal to make my students feel as safe and comfortable as possible in approaching me for help when they are not understanding lesson content. I love to work things out and figure out alternative ways to teach or explain matters in a manner that would clarify any misunderstandings. I am also an extremely dedicated teacher who keeps up to date with their students and checks in frequently.

My lessons are very engaging and are tailored to every individual student's needs. I like to step outside the traditional methods of teaching and incorporate culturally relevant pedagogy, with a student-centered approach. The lessons can be tailored to whatever grade or learning level/style, but my main focus is on grade 7-12.
