About Ivie
I was born in Amsterdam but raised in Manchester, I enjoy gymnastics and coach children part-time alongside my studies. As I’ve been tutored in the past and also received help from gymnastics coaches I understand the direct impact a good teacher can make on a student and I am actively trying to repay that favour to fellow students. I also enjoy reading when I can and am currently reading a classic - Stephen King’s IT.

I am currently studying biomedical science at the University of Northampton to become a clinical regulatory assistant; I have always had a passion for English and I understand the difference tutoring can make as it has helped me achieve my own desired GCSE grades. I aim to offer supportive and engaging lessons tailored to each student’s needs, whether that is students that benefit more from one-on-one teaching or just need extra hours of practice. I am also offering first lessons free to help students find the right tutor.

Ivie and I are childhood friends and when I was sitting my exams she really pushed me to do my best in English. She would make sure I stayed consistent and has a very patient nature which made me feel comfortable and confident when taking my time to collect my thoughts and answers. I would recommend her because she takes the time to understand your needs and where you struggle to uplift and improve yourself on top of all the things said prior. She’s great!
