About Sera
I am a biomedical engineering major at Dallas College and plan to transfer to UTD next fall. I am 18 years old and I enjoy teaching young kids. I have a lot of experience tutoring because I have a lot of younger siblings, and I did it throughout high school to help hone my ability to teach.

My teaching methods vary from student to student, but it usually takes me only one meeting to gauge how I should go about teaching them. I like to have communication between me and the student so I know what they need help with and what I need to do to prepare for the next session. I know some kids are visual learners, so I draw pictures to explain things to them, whereas logical thinkers like to have real life examples, which I also provide. I can take elementary, middle, and early high schoolers and they are encouraged to tell me what they like and what they dislike when it comes to my teaching style. I will amend as such.
