About Rebecca
I am 20 years old, studying engineering in UCC. Although I ultimately entered into the STEM side of further education, with a love for chemistry and science, I have always had a passion for English, achieving the Irene Connolly award for excellence in leaving cert English in 2022. It may sound cliche, but reading has always been my favourite hobby. I tested in the 95th percentile for spelling and the 90th percentile for English comprehension in the Oxford standardised aptitude test. I was even in the Cork Eason’s spelling bee when I was 12!

Lessons would be completed online, with the first session used to allow the student to understand my teaching methods and see if it works for them, as well as allowing me to assess where the student is in their learning and understand their learning style and needs. Dependant on the subject and student, I may ask them to complete one or two questions etc in between sessions to see how they are progressing.
