About Kirsty
I am passionate about English, reading and literature and I enjoy being able to inspire learners to have positive experiences with their learning. I support many learning styles and I encourage discussion about the work we are doing in order to develop critical thinking skills and confidence in all areas of English language learning. All tutor sessions are tailored towards the current needs of each individual learner. A typical session lasts one hour and can be in person or online. I currently offer 1:1 and small group sessions. I have taught secondary school English Language and Literature for over 23 years and my subject knowledge is current and up to date. I will happily teach KS3, 4 and 5 and I am willing to support adult learners too.
