About Amari
From a very young age I was always inspired by the arts. Being a kid who watched Disney movies like Treasure Planet, Tinker Bell, and the Princess movies or anime style shows like Naruto, Chobits, or Ouran High School Host Club. Those shows were the beginning of my art obsession. I drew from sun up to sun down and even began hosting an art club at my schools where I would teach my classmates how to draw their favorite characters. This is where my love for teaching art to others began. When I was in late middle school around 2018 I auditioned for a local performing arts school in my area for their visual arts department. I didn’t get in and it made me question my abilities and I didn’t draw for a couple years. By the time I was in my senior year of high school I got my spark back and I remembered that I didn’t enjoy art just because of some flashy school I wanted to go to, I did it because I enjoyed creating and I loved how my pieces of work brought people together. My hopes for being your tutor is to also help you create art and to help you gain the skills needed for advancing your skills no matter what level you’re at!

Hey there! Do you like animes such as Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer or One Piece? How about movies like Inside Out, Onward, or Strange World? Or have you ever wanted to draw yourself? WELL THIS IS THE PLACE TO LEARN IT!!! With that being said here are some requirements: -Has a basic to moderate level understanding of drawing -Can follow a fairly paced art tutorial - Basic art materials (Drawing pencils, lead pencils, Prismacolor colored pencils, Copic markers, Ohuhu markers, charcoal pencils, etc) -enjoys media of all types -LIKES HAVING FUN AND TO CHILL!!
