About Shivani
I am a qualified biologist with a PhD in Behavioural Ecology and several years of experience teaching and mentoring students. I offer structured, reliable, and student-focused biology lessons, always tailored to individual learning needs. My aim is to help students gain clarity, confidence, and strong conceptual understanding in biology. I value clarity, consistency, and creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving step by step.

My teaching approach: My goal is to make complex topics clear, logical, and intuitive, whether it’s evolution, ecology, genetics, or exam preparation. Lessons are interactive, paced to the student, and focused on building confidence alongside knowledge. Lesson length: Typical length of a lesson is one hour. Initial 5–10 min: review of previous material or questions, 40–45 min: core concepts and guided practice and in the last 5–10 min: summary, clarification, and next steps. If needed, I can arrange longer or shorter sessions. My background: I hold a PhD in Biology (Behavioural Ecology) and have experience teaching and mentoring university-level students. I specialise in evolution, ecology, and core biological principles, and I enjoy helping students truly understand how biology works.
