About Walker
I graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with honors. While there I signed my first record deal with a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. I've sold out shows in NY, LA and my hometown of Chicago. I maintain 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and my original music has accrued 2 million streams.
In addition to teaching privately I am a faculty instructor at Northside Music Academy and the Wesley School of Music in Chicago. I have over 3 years of teaching experiences with all ages / skill levels.
My creative work and my teaching practice are parallel passions that feed off of one another. Happily on my own journey of following my heart and becoming a better musician, I encourage my students to do the same.

As a seasoned jazz, blues and rock guitarist I help my students dive into whatever style inspires them. My students study far more than just the basic technical elements of playing guitar. We dissect and appreciate MUSIC and begin the lifelong process of learning how to be great communicators through our instrument. This process can start at any age or level of guitar experience. I happily work with adults and kids 4+.
