About Ivy
I am a passionate Singing tutor with 9 years of dedicated teaching experience, having successfully trained between 150 and 200 students across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. My experience has allowed me to understand different learning styles and adapt my methods to suit each student’s needs.
I believe that every student’s voice is unique and deserves personalised attention. I begin by assessing vocal range, tone quality, and technical strengths, then design a customised lesson plan that ensures steady and structured progress. My approach focuses on building a strong foundation while encouraging artistic expression.
My sessions include vocal warm-ups, breath control exercises, pitch training, tonal clarity development, and rhythm practice. I also guide students in stage presence, performance confidence, and emotional connection to songs. Maintaining vocal health through proper technique is always a priority.
With patience, encouragement, and clear communication, I create a positive learning environment where students feel confident to grow and perform at their best.

My teaching methodology for Singing is built on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and smart time management. I believe that vocal training should be safe, structured, and enjoyable. I begin by understanding the student’s natural voice, goals, and level of confidence. After assessing their strengths and areas for improvement, I design a personalised lesson plan.
I focus on breathing techniques, posture correction, and vocal warm-ups to create a strong foundation. I gradually introduce pitch control, tone development, voice projection, and modulation exercises. To keep lessons engaging, I use creative activities like singing with different emotions, exploring multiple genres, and practising dynamic variations.
I divide each session carefully to balance technical training and song application. I also guide students in building a regular and realistic home practice routine. Besides Singing, I teach music theory basics, ear training, rhythm exercises, and stage confidence techniques to ensure overall musical growth.
