About Josh
My name is Joshua Quinton and I have just completed my A-Levels in sixth form, and now spending my summer preparing for University. I learnt Mathematics, Geography, and Graphic Design at my sixth form, however Geography was the subject that interested me most and pushed me further to apply for a Geographical Finance course at University of East Anglia.
I have decided to begin tutoring as teaching other people and making them smarter is a great feeling, and develops soft skills within life allowing you to improve communication, confidence, and explanation techniques.
I believe that any student can improve and achieve their greatest potential just by putting in the work, despite being at lower grades than wanted at some point. In my GCSEs I was feeling behind in my science lessons, but after finding a good tutor and putting work into my academics outside of school I saw a drastic improvement in my grades in a short time.

I am a patient individual who is willing to help students at any knowledge level, whether they just need some small advice and guidance, or whether they are far behind and seeking a promising high grade.
My lessons are adapted to suit individuals with shorter attention spans, splitting the lesson into 3 activities including a listening, writing, and question practice segment allowing the student to find what works best for them.
My lessons are targeted at mainly GCSE students in years 10 and 11, however I can also advise A-Level students on how to increase their grade and NEA coursework specifically.
