About Maryam
My name is Maryam. I live in Kaduna State, Nigeria. I'm 20 years old, studying Biochemistry at ATBU, Bauchi State. My two favorite hobbies are reading and writing. I've written several pieces, mostly creative pieces, all unpublished. I started writing since I was a kid. I've won awards in writing competitions since primary and secondary school. I've participated in maths and essay writing competitions. I'm a member of our school's writers' society (ATBU Writers' Society), and also an editor. I've read many books, written poems of my own and participated in poetry competitions and spoken word performances. I love to teach. I tutor my siblings and cousins at home, and also friends in school.
