About Bond Osinomumu
I had my first degree in Music Education 1984 and a 2nd Class in Upper Division in Music 1986 at University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Taught piano, sax and theory of Music for 10yrs at FORMER ANAMBRA STATE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION/NSUGBE (1986-1996). A diocesan Organist and Choirmaster at Anglican communion AWKA. In Lagos: part teaching on piano pedagogy, Musical instruments technology at MUSON School of Music till date. Repairs of Western Musical Instruments at my fingertips.

Piano as a keyboard instrument requires a special touch as a percussion instrument. Touch different from electronic keyboards. There should be finger excercises to develop agility of the fingers and mastery of scales, intervals, and chords. Sight reading tests will cement the acquired skills. A good knowledge of simple maintenance of the instrument enhances the desire to appreciate the instrument.
