• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  Maths had been my favourite subject since childhood & I had always wanted to pursue my post graduation in it as I was a topper in it throughout my school life.When my elder couldn't find a good maths tutor in her10th class,then I decided to teach her myself.When my daughter scored 100% then I decided to take up home tuitions so that I could help the weak students.

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I like all the topics in maths esp. Trigonometry,linear equations ,etc.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  Yes, I had my mom & my maths teacher as my role models& my inspirers.

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  A good teacher should always be hard working, understand the individual I.Q.level of each student and be able to
  teach each student at his or her caliber. A good tutor is one who motivates his students to work hard& score 100% marks. None of my students till now has scored less than 100% in maths.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  In my school and college break hours, all classmates crowded me to understand maths topics from me esp. the tough ones.I hardly used to get the time to eat my lunch in my break in school & college hours & so was the case with both my daughters.

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  My particular passion is Trignometry, binomial theorem,linear equations, polynomials ,etc.

• What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions )?

  My inbuilt knowledge & clarity of the basic concepts & the unique way in which I explain these to my students is my plus point.This specific trait of mine makes me a superprof who is dearly adored & appreciated by her students.
