About Marissa
I am a passionate singing tutor with over 3 years of experience nurturing voices of all ages and backgrounds. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera, I blend classical training with modern expression. Technique matters deeply to me, but connection matters even more.
I am devoted to helping students overcome performance anxiety and build lasting vocal confidence. Specialising in contemporary worship and gospel music, I guide singers to connect spiritually and emotionally with every lyric. Singing should move both the singer and the listener.
My teaching spans Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship, always grounded in breath control and vocal health. I coach live performance skills for congregational settings with clarity and leadership in mind. Whether you are shy or stage-ready, we grow together.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong, healthy, and sustainable voices. Every lesson begins with breath support, posture, and relaxed tone production. Strong foundations help singers avoid strain and perform confidently.
I guide singers in developing stamina for tours, long rehearsals, or extended worship services. Step-by-step endurance exercises prepare the voice for frequent and demanding use. Consistency and pacing are key.
Managing vocal fatigue is central to my methodology. I teach warm-ups, cool-downs, and recovery techniques that protect the voice. Daily care ensures longevity and reliability for professional singers.
