About Gabriella
I have been a professional tutor for two years but have been tutoring for five years in total. I have tutored a vast array of subjects but I am most passionate about Humanities ; English, Philosophy, Anthropology. I have tutored to help young students get into their desired secondary schools as well as supporting students with academic anxiety.

I work with multiple age groups, and my calm nature means I get on well with both outgoing students and more reserved students. I aim to encourage and build confidence and I tailor each lesson to each student; working creatively to discover your best methods of learning- but there is no one way. My main prevailing methodology is the Growth Mindset approach; to convert negative ideas of failure into positive thought processes which help manage feelings of anxiety or low self-confidence. The goal is not to achieve a certain grade; but to develop a better approach to learning and working. We will try different styles of learning to provide a holistic understanding of a skill/subject- if you learn well be 'doing' we will use kinaesthetic techniques as well as auditory, visual etc. It is never about confining your learning, or obsessing over a goal; it is about the enjoying the process, overcoming challenges and becoming more well rounded as a student.

Gabriella is a bright intelligent and kind young woman. She comes from a large family and is used to young children should she be tutoring that age group. She has a gentle but firm way about her and as such I believe would be a positive addition to your company.
I have known Gabby during the years which she was tutoring a young girl named Dolly. She took her responsibilities as a tutor seriously but was also able to form a strong relationship with Dolly which helped to create an excellent learning environment.
