I am a student at Florida Atlantic University studying social studies education. I have experience tutoring in high school AVID. My students have achieved a greater knowledge of social studies through my thorough teaching and helping them use critical thinking skills to find solutions.

My teaching method is to help lead my students to their answer through critical thinking instead of outright giving the answer. If they are wrong, I do not believe in telling them "no, you're wrong" because that can discourage students and diminish confidence. Instead, I like to tell them "I like the way you are thinking, but try to think of it this way"
