Books are where I go to escape, to dream, and to understand life a little better. Teaching? I don’t teach English the usual way.
You won’t find me drilling grammar rules into your head
or asking you to memorize long word lists just for the sake of it.
In my class, English is something you feel.
It’s the way a sentence can make your heart skip.
The way a single word can open up a whole new way of thinking.
We’ll read stories, yes but more than that, we’ll step inside them.
We’ll look at why a poet chose one word instead of another,
and how that tiny choice changes everything.
Sometimes we’ll pause to admire the rhythm of a line,
or let a character’s silence speak louder than their words.
