About Anand
I am a full-time software engineer, a part-time math teacher, and a musician. At present, I work as a freelance software consultant and offer my services to clients predominantly with respect to software technologies, but also consult on software processes, including planning and execution. I'd been offering training on software technologies over the last many years. Currently, I offer training in Python as well as in problem-solving in the field of software.

Learning is as much responsibility of the student as that of the teacher. My classes are hands-on, where I teach by examples, and generally, ask my students to follow with me on their laptops. I generally avoid white-boarding, if I am in a classroom. I insist on practice by the student after class timings, and to help that, give assignments to my students on a regular basis. I advise my students to ensure that they utilize class time to the best possible extent. I ask them to closely follow-up on what's being taught in classes that follow. My teaching techniques are oriented towards taking away/alleviating the fear most learners have, while learning a new topic.

Details
A pre-requisite for my classes is knowledge (average) of basic math. It definitely helps, if the student has a basic understanding of computer programming. Meeting both pre-requisites would certainly aid in keeping the fees as low as possible; if the student is weaker than average on either or both, I might charge more.
