About Erica
Hola, I am a online tutor with a background in languages. I have recently completed my 2nd year studying Spanish and Linguistics at the University of Southampton and alongside my studies I worked at a tutoring agency. I specialised in helping students prepare for their English Literature and English Language GCSE but I have also had experience tutoring 11+ and primary level English. I would love to help others improve their language skills, whether this is for English or Spanish.
For Spanish in particular, I can teach up to A Level and prepare students for what to expect from exams and how to increase their language exposure through writing, reading and speaking. Languages are my passion and I am eager to pass on my knowledge to keen learners.

I am focused on getting students prepared for their exams so then they know what to expect and to feel confident they can achieve their best. Through practising high quality writing techniques and going into detail on areas they need to improve upon, I can give tailored teaching specific to each student’s needs. With regards to teaching Spanish in particular, interaction with the language is invaluable and necessary for high level speaking skills. Together we can go through ways to improve Spanish language ability in all areas.

Due to COVID-19 I will be doing online tutoring until the situation is safer and improved. At which point I will consider travelling as an option.
