About Amy
I am a qualified translator/interpreter of English/Spanish who lived in Spain for more than 20 years. I also have an M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language and am a lecturer at a tier 1 research university. Mostly, I teach Spanish out of a love and passion for this language. I have been teaching Spanish to adults for about three years now

Fun, fun, fun! I love teaching Spanish to eager adults. I remember all of my own learning path in Spanish and put myself in my students' shoes. I focus on themes like travels, food, health, shopping, money, and bad habits, always scaffolding these dialogues through key vocabulary and small grammar points. I offer a set of files for my students and usually teach with Zoom and Canvas, both very user-friendly.
