About Sonia
¡Hola! I am Sonia, your new Spanish coach.
I am a native Spanish speaker with extensive experience teaching online, specifically tailored for English speakers. Having previously taught students in an academy in Australia, I am very familiar with the common mistakes English speakers make and the fastest shortcuts to help you sound natural.
I am patient, energetic, and I believe learning a language should feel like preparing for an adventure, not like being back at school. I adapt completely to your pace and your travel destination (Spain vs. Latin America vocabulary).

Are you travelling to Spain or Latin America soon?
Forget about pointing at menus and relying on Google Translate!
My "Travel Spanish Boost" is a practical, fast-paced crash course designed for people who want to learn exactly what they need to survive and enjoy their holiday—without spending months on boring grammar textbooks.
What we will focus on (Real-life scenarios):
Ordering like a local: Tapas, drinks, dietary requirements, and asking for the bill.
Survival skills: Navigating airports, checking into hotels, and dealing with transport.
️ Getting around: Asking for directions (and actually understanding the answer!).
Socialising: Basic greetings, introducing yourself, and making friends.
Emergencies: Pharmacies, doctors, and asking for help.
My Method:
We will use role-play and interactive conversations from Day 1. I will give you the essential vocabulary, the most common phrases, and the confidence to use them immediately. Whether you have 2 weeks or 2 months before your flight, we will maximise your time!
