My knowledge of Lauren’s love of Spanish speaking and teaching goes back to her teaching for the Red Cross in Chicago. She was often assigned to schools where being bilingual in Spanish was very important. She loved teaching all the children skills in general safety and swimming.
I know she has had many positions in which she worked as a translator but teaching seems more suited to her.
Whatever teaching position she has been given she has put her whole heart into.

Lore is very passionate about Spanish and helping people. When I first met them they were volunteering to help make legal resources available to Spanish speakers and worked with people across many dialects.
I've watched them strike up conversations with people in Spanish in cafes and walking down the street. They always look so happy while speaking Spanish.
They are patient and the most empathetic person I've met. They're someone who takes great care to communicate and gain an understanding of each person's individual needs.
