About Seth
I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and a masters degree in Special Education. I am a certified teacher in Oklahoma. I have experience tutoring ages 6-16 years old, students with and without disabilities. My favorite subject to teach is reading.

My teaching method is to build enough trust for my students to challenge themselves and take risks. I find out what skills require practice then adapt instruction as we go to best fit each individual student.
I vary my methods depending on the age of student and complexity of subject. Possibilities include: evidence based phonics instruction, game based instruction, PowerPoint and Video, lecture, book club, multisensory instruction, read aloud, and guided reading.
