About Connor
My name is Connor and I am a recent Biotechnology with Management graduate from The University of Edinburgh. My days at university were some of the best of my life so far and I was inspired to pursue this path by the outstanding teachers I had in my high school. I now hope to inspire young minds to maximise their potential and I will equip my students with an arsenal of learning techniques that I have either learned or devised myself.
I also aim to provide personalised, and extensive guidance and support to students who are leaving school to help them make the best choices at such a pivotal time in their lives

I base my teaching techniques on the strategies I used myself. I achieved As in every biology exam from National 5 - Advanced higher level and graduated with a first class degree in Biotechnology with Management from The University of Edinburgh in the summer of 2022.
I am able to confidently explain complex topics in a manner that suits any student's preferred learning style and will conduct an analysis of past papers to identify key areas which repeatedly appear in exams.
Lessons will be designed to last 1-2 hours, based on the student's availability and goals, but I can be flexible.
This year I am offering a new service for school leavers, where I work with students to analyse their potential next steps and help them to decide what's best for them. I'll be giving students all of the information I wish I'd had at that stage in my life to help them make the best choices possible.

Connor is an amazing tutor! He explains everything very patiently and in a super pleasant, calm manner. You can tell that he really takes the time to answer questions because it's important to him that you actually understand the material.
