About Farah
I am a new tutor who is currently a university student doing my masters in Speech and Language Therapy.
I achieved an A in National 5 English, A in Higher English and a B in Advanced Higher English.
I have completed an introductory course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
I have previously volunteered at my local Girl Guiding group for 3 years and have worked with children of all ages and capabilities.

I am a Malaysian who was born and raised in the UK. I am bilingual, speaking both English and Malay fluently. As a current SLT student, speech and language have always been a big interest of mine. This led me to take part in an introductory course in Teaching English as a Foreign language (TEFL) and gave me the experience and resources to guide you to develop or strengthen your English language skills.
From the first lesson, I want to provide a service where your needs are a priority, and thus I will gradually adapt and develop each lesson as we progress. I believe in a method where I ensure every lesson plan can match your level/ requirements however still slightly challenge your skills, in hope that this will improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
I also do proofreading of essays of any kind and hope that I can offer good-quality advice and critiques, alongside perfecting orthology (grammar, word-choice etc).
