About Ted
how's it goin!! My name is Teddy and I'm a Staff Producer/Engineer at a Legacy studio in Los Angeles. My days are filled either building instrumentals, mixing a record, or arranging compositions. I am a session guitarist and bassist with a strong understanding of music theory. I am also proficient enough in piano to write parts from it. Working at a major studio has afforded me the opportunity to work on and be invested in nearly all genres of music. As a 27 year old I am responsible for a few million streams with various artists on Spotify. Everything from a rock record to R&B to pop and even some jazz. Happy to show you some unreleased favorites of mine as well. I also have several works placed in TV/Film and Video games. Please reach out with any interests that you are looking to expand upon and learn more about. Whether it's writing/recording instrumentals or just cooking up a dope 808, I will be quick to tell you if I can help or not. I reckon teaching people is a lot like producing artists. Every artist I work with has a different way of understanding and interpreting the things/ideas that I'm conveying to them. I think that's why I enjoy the role of a producer so much. Each person is different which means I have to learn about them and how they are different. That allows me to find the most effective ways of communicating with them. I think a good student/tutor relationship is really just about communication and the same goes for my role as a producer to my artists. With artists, we are constantly communicating vision. With students we are communicating knowledge and I find that equally cool. All the best, Teddy
