About Serban
Maths is one of those things that everyone can understand, master and even enjoy - with enough practice. And for that... repetition is key.
That is why I am happy to offer reduced rates for larger tutoring packages.
Because now, more than ever, keeping children's learning momentum going is critical.
A little bit about my story:
I have always had a thing for precise sciences - physics, maths and programming - so that when it came to choosing an academic degree, engineering felt like the logical step forward.
Over the years, and through a series of events, I got in touch with my passion for coaching, mentoring and tutoring.
Helping out my best friend's younger sister with her GCSE exam prep was my breakthrough into tutoring.
It was such an enjoyable experience, where I was naturally able to explain concepts effortlessly and turn the learning process into a fun and intriguing experience.
Since then, I have worked with SEN children in primary school: in the process I have learned to cater for different learning styles and adjust my teaching accordingly.
I have now tutored for over three years, A-levels and GCSE, and worked with pupils of all ages from 5 to 18.
I am passionate about enabling students to discover their optimal learning style and leverage it to master maths and physics.
I am looking forward to having a productive and enjoyable time together.
