About Arlo
I’m a chess tutor with 10 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on strategic thinking and enrichment through games. I love working with homeschooling families to make chess a natural part of daily learning. Whether it’s integrating chess into history lessons, maths practice, or critical thinking projects, I help families discover how versatile and enriching the game can be. I design flexible, personalised curricula that fit each learner’s pace and interests. My lessons often include storytelling, puzzle challenges, and hands-on activities that keep young minds engaged.
