Hello! I am an enthusiastic 11th-grader who achieved straight A’s in my O-Levels. My strong academic background gives me an exceptional command of English grammar, composition, and reading strategies, and I love passing these skills on to younger learners. I chose to become an online English tutor because I am passionate about helping students discover the joy of creative writing and confident communication. As a high-achieving 11th-grade student who earned straight A’s in my O-Levels, I have a deep mastery of English grammar, creative writing, and reading comprehension. My online classes are specifically designed for US students from Grade 1 to Grade 8.My core teaching strategy is to make English an exciting, fun, and activity-filled experience.
The small age gap between me and my students is my absolute superpower. It creates an instant, friendly chemistry that breaks down the walls of a scary, traditional classroom. Because we can connect easily without any stiff, formal pressure, students feel safe making mistakes, laughing, and participating enthusiastically. This great connection makes our learning highly effective.
Each standard 50 to 60-minute online English lesson is split into four highly organized phases;
The Vocabulary Warm-Up (5-10 mins): A fun word puzzle, matching game, or quick storytelling activity to break the ice and get the student thinking in English.
The Core Lesson (20 mins): I introduce a key concept—like essay structures, parts of speech, or reading strategies using an interactive digital whiteboard and visual slides.
Active Practice (20 mins): We read a fun passage together or write a story. I guide them step-by-step through punctuation, spelling, and sentence building.
The Wrap-Up (5 mins): A lively recap game of the day's new words and a huge virtual high-five to celebrate their progress.
My Primary Goal: My ultimate agenda is to completely transform your child's relationship with English. I want to build a rock-solid academic foundation while boosting their self-confidence, helping them express their thoughts beautifully and speak with absolute pride!
