About Sofia
I am exceedingly qualified as a former pro athlete in rhythmic gymnastics and as an elite coach with 7 years of experience coaching. I have traveled internationally teaching masterclasses and training National Teams as well as head coaching in CA and NY. I hold a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, the highest ranked program for dance in the United States. Additionally, I have worked as a dancer and a choreographer with major artists like Kendrick Lamar, OneRepublic, Karan Aujla, Diljit Dosanjh, and more. I’ve trained professional dancers at the top dance studios NYC has to offer. I am an extremely high energy person who is deeply invested in the progress of each and every one of my clients. I facilitate a vibrant and welcoming environment where clients feel challenged and motivated. My diverse background in strength and flexibility training, floor barre, Pilates, calisthenics, HIIT, yoga, gymnastics, and various styles of dance allows me to truly tailor my approach to the room and their unique needs. I’ve taught injury prevention workshops for athletes, implementing physical therapy techniques as well, and am extremely passionate about safe practice that utilizes proper technique before anything.

Throughout my years as a rhythmic gymnast and dancer, I have watched countless athletes filled with unlimited potential fall to injury and malnourishment. I want to enforce a method that prioritizes injury prevention and LONG TERM technique that’s sustainable. By evaluating each individual's unique strengths and weaknesses head on, we can actively work against possible injury as no one method works for every body. We will also place emphasis on nourishment and body positivity as many athletes face injury and limited athletic performance as a result of malnourishment. As a working artist, I understand the need for flexible scheduling. I'm here to help you reach your training goals while leading fast paced, busy lives.
My workouts are tailored to YOU and incorporate calisthenics, pilates, HIIT workout, floor barre, yoga, strength and flexibility training, injury prevention, physical therapy techniques, mobility exercises and nerve flossing.
