About Jacqueline
I have a Bachelor in Music Performance in Chile where I was born. I finished my master's degree in Voice Performance at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, my current location. Some of my passions are teaching and learning, so the best way to learn is by teaching. It could not be better. I really enjoy teaching, my students feel that, and they enjoy with me also. Do you want to take your voice to the highest level hand in hand with experience, pedagogy, and voice science? I am the person who can help you with that in any genre that you want: Pop, Rock, Funk, Blues, Opera, Baroque or Art songs.

I am always updating my strategies and knowledge. It does not matter your level, I can always help you improve by developing an individualized routine of exercises and repertoire just for your needs.
We will start with stretches and focus on your needs. Then a warm-up that works just for you but covers all the foundations like resonance, range, registers, dynamic, and coordination. I am trained as a classical singer, but I have been teaching CCM singers on a professional level for 9 years, so if you want to learn Twang, Growl, Belt or some extended techniques for CCM in a comfortable way, I can teach you.
My schedule is tight right now so my availibility is limited for online lessons on Mondays or Tuesdays mornings. If you want in person lessons on evenings or weekends you can contact Visionary Centre for the Performing Arts and request a free trial with me. They manage different rates too.

Perfect! Jacqueline is an incredible teacher with a layered understanding of the voice and how to use it to add colour to your singing while maintaining good technique. I came to her asking if she could teach me to sing in the style of mariachi and have grown vocally by leaps and bounds after just a few months thanks to her. I look forward to every lesson.
