Catherine is an awesome tutor! She creates super helpful study guides, tailors each session to what you’re working on, and always takes the time to answer your questions. Her patience and kindness make learning so much easier and more enjoyable.

Catherine is a kind, dedicated, and exceptional tutor who goes the extra mile to ensure students succeed. She consistently holds cohort study sessions, and shares detailed recordings for those unable to attend. Catherine also creates well-organized and helpful study guides for exams. During study sessions, she encourages active participation which helps to foster a collaborative learning environment. If a student is having difficulty with a concept, she is always willing and able to break down difficult concepts in a way we can understand. Catherine is passionate about helping others reach their highest potential.

I’m honored to write about my dear friend, Catherine. I have been lucky to know her since the very first day of our graduate program. She is someone who meets you with a smile and makes you feel seen and heard. She is such an amazing listener, she is genuine and kind and leaves you feeling full of hope and excitement. Catherine is someone who this world needs, she never judges anyone and has such a big heart. I think she would be an incredible teacher because of her desire to learn, to grow, to create safe environments for others, the way she listens and makes people feel at ease. The reasons I value Catherine as a friend are reasons I believe she’d be a wonderful teacher. She is steadfast and loyal, kind and genuine. Catherine is incredibly smart but always eager to learn more. I think someone who is an avid learner would make a wonderful teacher. Anyone would be lucky to have Catherine as a tutor, they would have a kind soul in the corner always routing for them.

Catherine set up a weekly study group for our cohort, and regularly checked in with classmates. She also took session notes for anyone who couldn’t attend. She is always friendly, patient, and organized!
