About Maelys

Currently 18 years old, I am in the first year of Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences. Holder of the 2018 Baccalaureate, S series with honors and the certificate of colleges 2015 with honors, I propose to give courses of support or catch-up to middle school and primary school students during the year Available in the month of June, I can also supervise college card preparation, either individually or in groups. My taste for pedagogy is certainly in my ambition to become a teacher. As the eldest sister of a 13-year-old girl, I am particularly sensitive and attentive to the 6 ° and 5 ° programs, but will not have any difficulty for those of 4 ° and 3 ° in the subjects indicated.

About the lesson

I adapt to all ages, levels and working methods. In primary, I mainly focus lessons on the game. Indeed, children with a time of concentration rather small (in general), 2h can quickly be annoying for them (and unpleasant for me) in a classic class. This method allows me to continue to address concepts even when the child is tired, since it feels like playing rather than learning! In middle school, I propose to the children different axes and it is up to them to make their choice. English, for example, is often a difficult subject for beginners (many notions to assimilate at the same time to understand). We will be able to work the concept to study through different media such as songs (college students are fans!), Movies or series! It may seem surprising, but if they can choose to work with tools they like, the results are mostly bluffing! I prepare my classes from one appointment to another, which is why the first session will be blind. I will look with the student at the lessons to be treated and will define a method of work of his own. The first class is free, which allows me to implement this method of work. You will be able to judge for yourself whether I am able to provide your child with what he needs. The other sessions will take place this way (mainly for college students): - Correction of the exercises left the previous time - Recap of the lesson of the day - New exercises on the course in question (simple at the beginning, then the difficulty will increase) - Proposal of some exercises to be done for the next session (to make sure everything has been understood, and to develop the autonomy of the child)
