About Mieke
Although it was only recently that I realized my knack for teaching, I have been doing it in different forms my whole life. In all my hobbies, at different points I have found myself helping others develop their skills. This, I have found extremely rewarding for both me and the people I have worked with. Though it has seemed to me that my interests are disparate, they often seem to converge back to teaching, tutoring and mentoring

My method of learning is visual and as such, I often use graphs to state a point. Additionally, I believe that a deeper understanding of a subject is required to properly apply what is learned. I'm willing to work for up to an hour at a time, but can work multiple times a week. I am just starting out as a tutor, but I have had no problems helping others within my school. My efforts would be best focused at high school students as I have very recently covered the material they are studying.
