About Sayesha
One of the biggest challenges in education today is that students rarely get the opportunity to learn from peers who are only slightly older than they are. Most teaching and tutoring is done by adults, which can create a natural gap — not just in age, but in how ideas are communicated, what examples feel relatable, and how learning is approached. When a tutor and student are far apart in age, that distance can sometimes make it harder for the student to truly connect with the material and feel understood. This is a problem I am passionate about solving — by bringing students closer to those who teach them, both in age and in perspective, so that learning feels less like a lecture and more like a conversation.

I believe that every student learns differently, and great teaching starts with understanding those differences. My goal is to make mathematics feel approachable and meaningful for every student I work with. My classes are designed for school children from kindergarten through to grade 10. I am open to building number sense in primary school, to algebra and fractions in middle school, to calculus and statistics in high school. I can help the students who have struggled with math in the past and need a patient, personalized approach, as well as with students who are ready to go beyond the standard curriculum.
