In my classes we mostly use previous question papers and each learner is required to answer a certain question, I divide learners into groups according to their marks, at first I thought this would make those with low marks feel bad but to my surprise they started improving,those in a group of top achievers are in competition with one another and one wants to be on top which is something very positive, those in the group of low marks always wanna do better so that they can move from that group to the next one,in this group I break everything down and also do things slowly so that everyone catches up and is on track. This method is really working. Learners come to the front to explain their answers,even shy ones are enjoying this teaching strategy because they wanna shine with their answers
