About Amanda
My name is Amanda and I currently work as a HLTA at a primary school, and have done for seven years. Through this time I have fostered a love for teaching and I am now currently studying at university to become a teacher.
For the last 5 years I have worked as a private English tutor to children who wish to sit the 11 plus exam. This has included all the fundamental English Language requirements such as: a firm knowledge and understanding of Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPaG), reading comprehension including vital skills such as inference and evidence retrieval, and verbal reasoning for problem solving.
